Hot Tub Hire Dorset Frequently Asked Questions

Quite simply, Hot Tub Hire Dorset deliver the spa to the required venue, set it up, chemically treat it and leave it to heat up 1-2 days before your event. After the event, we return to collect the spa, allowing our customers to concern themselves with nothing more strenuous than enjoying the hot tub experience!

We are located at the heart of the Blackmore Vale in Blandford Forum and will happily travel within a 50 mile radius of our base. All transport costs will be included in your hire fee.

Yes. The hot tubs run on mains electric and are fitted with RCDs for your safety. We supply the tubs with 25 metre extension leads, so assuming there is an internal mains supply within 25 metres of the hot tub, power is not a problem. You will also need to have a water supply.

You need 7ft by 7ft clear space.

The hot tubs are collapsible and are stored in boxes. They are made from a plastic membrane, which can be folded up. The side panels are also packed in a separate box. As long as you have a front door, back gate or side entrance we can get in to install your hot tub.

This is very much dependent on the initial temperature of the water, although in general the water will have reached a very pleasant 36-38°C within 24 hours of being turned on. You will need to ensure that the cover is kept in place when not in use, so as to maintain the water temperature.

We would recommend that you site your hot tub outside, on a flat surface free of any sharp objects. We do supply under-tub mats although it is essential that the ground surface is free of any particles that may result in a puncture. Tubs can be installed within your home although you will need to ensure the floor is structurally sound, and that the room is well ventilated. You will also need to bear in mind that the floor is likely to get wet.

Absolutely. In fact most people agree that the very best time to sit in a spa is when the moon is out, a light frost is on the grass and the stars are shining. With the water generating revitalising steam at 38° centigrade, the only time you feel the cold is when you dash from the tub to the warmth of your home!

Our tubs can comfortably hold up to 6 adults.

You have 2 choices when relaxing in your hot tub. Either keep the water still and serene allowing easy conversation whilst you bathe or turn on the jets and watch the steam rise as wonderfully, soothing bubbles burst all around you.

Yes, our on-site technician will dose the tub on the day of the installation. For hire periods longer than the standard weekend party, we will leave instructions and the relevant products with the customer as well as dipping strips so the water can be tested during the duration of the hire period.

Yes. We can supply in-tub water lights that really add that extra bit of luxury to your hire.

Hot Tub Hire Dorset is fully insured and our on-site technician will leave a "Terms of Use" document with the hirer. We take health and safety issues very seriously, and if you think that there may be issues with either the power supply or the site of the spa, please contact us prior to our technician arriving, as unsafe conditions will lead to the prevention of installation.

Yes, a booking/damage deposit will be taken prior or on the day of hire, this will be returned at end of hire after inspection.
